Wreck Fishing....
There are several wrecks both North and South of Portpatrick upto 14 miles away.
As always,some fish better than other.
They mainly hold pollack and coalfish over the wreck,conger eels within the wreck and tope,spurs and huss around the wreck.
The tidal range in the North Channel can be big and certain tides make wreck fishing totally impractical due to speed of tidal flow and direction.
If you want to go wreck fishing,please contact me to check the size of tide to see if it will be practical...
