Take a boat trip from Cullivoe passing UNST to the point where the Atlantic Ocean and the North sea converge to enjoy the wildlife, cetaceans and seabirds.
During Spring and Summer we depart to the large seabird nesting colony at Muckle Flugga Lighthouse, looking at the nesting colony on the sea cliffs with the added possibility of sighting Orca, Porpoise, Dolphin, Basking Shark and Minke Whale passing the headland.
This trip is dependant on numbers of people (minimum 5 or cost equivalent) or group bookings.
We also run scenic cruises along the coast for 4 hours and we visit Muckle Flugga Lighthouse from both a northerly and southerly aspect , cut inside the outstack and enter Burrafirth Voe. A different trip of the same duration can be run to see the rocket launch site at SaxaVoord on the Lamba Ness Peninsula just inside the tide race of Skaw Rost passing the ruins of Muness Castle on the way by.
All trips are dependent upon the weather, sea state and sufficient numbers.
Bookings essential and can be made by contacting myself - Mobile 07739231331 on Whatsapp, Email ot through Facebook
Here are just a few examples of some of the birds, fish, crustaceans and cetaceans seen on some of our wildlife/scenic excursions.
